Apart from the pricing of Charizma which obviously makes it value for money, what I love about this brand is they dare to experiment with colors. The results sometimes even hilarious but its nice to know someone is trying instead of just being comfortable.

In the midst of all the stormy silk and chiffon's ranging from 8 to 10k this came as a delightful change with a price that almost sounded like melody to ears.

The most economical brand this season and 5 stars for the softness and texture of fabric. JUST BEAUTIFUL in terms of finesse of quality.

So you know, there is love at first sight. And that's what it was when I saw Shahid Afridi.
And then there was this collection.
I saw the pictures of the catalogue again and again and nothing happened. And then these happened-

Surprisingly enough, and this is probably the first time ever, the catalogue pictures were terrible and did no justice to the product in any way.
Worse still, they got into national controversy for being in such bad taste.
We know Sanam Saeed looks terrific in retro chic but may we please see the dress please? :o

There was no 'surreal lusture' as they claimed, or nothing perceptible at least.

It came and went and life went on.

I LOVE THIS BRAND!

I think I feel about Khaadi the same way many people feel about Fabindia. It's a classic.

Overall review
If the pictures don't say it all, then this is what needs to be told.
This is the time tested brand you bank on and it delivers on the money. It sticks to what it does best. Send out classics. The best thing about all khaadi series is its just so easy to like. Their collection gives you a feel of old school lawn the way it used to be. Non fussy?
It doesn't dwell on whether tulip pants or peplum pants or silk dupatta or this that or the other. It's all about the design and colors and that's it.

If at all this is a negative, the series were a bit confusing especially when they all came in at the same time.

The pictures looked like a dream coming out of a fairytale. If Cinderella was a desi, she would be wearing the white Anaya suit to the ball.

Anaya had the potential of being the black sheep that nobody noticed until it tore out of its darkness and made a story of unexpected success we all want to hear about, but it failed. It's biggest hiccup being the gaping flaw in brand marketing strategy when it came to pricing.

BIGGEST NEGATIVE would be the price that started out soaring high and crashed in a month to catalogue sellers disappointment, by a whopping 1500/- Indian Rupees per suit!!!

Now there are just a lot of sellers with a lot of pretty suits that nobody wants to buy.

Sana Safinaz Silk 2016 reviewed

Sana Safinaz is the one brand which looks the same if not better than the pictures.

It did that with its silk collection. I don't recollect a single piece which became the hot piece of discussion as in, OMG! Did you see that? What a sham!

Overall review
We saw some new colors like never before with the neon green that people went gaga over. I wasn't a big fan of it myself to be honest, but then ye public hai.

The only con that I can think of, is you couldn't possibly get the seamless look as shown by the models from the catalogue, given it's silk and without a backing or lining it would be impossible to sustain the dress for even so much as a day!
